One conversation. Three kinds of peace of mind.

SaathiLife.Care gives your parent a companion, Saathi, who is a real volunteer; the family, a calm window; and the community around them, a dependable layer. Here is what each part does, and where it stands today.

In pilot working with our first families and communitiesComing next being built, so we do not promise it yet

For your parent

A friend who starts the conversation

Everything arrives in WhatsApp, in the language they chose. No app to install, no device to buy.

Coming next

A companion on WhatsApp

A friendly good-morning from a real volunteer, a question about how they are, one small thing to enjoy. By text, by voice note, or by tapping a button.

In pilot

Things they love, chosen by them

Spiritual, social, adventurous, foodie, health-first, home-loving or full of gratitude: they pick up to three activities and are offered those, and no others.

In pilot

Events in their own society

An antakshari evening, a morning walk, a satsang. Saathi invites them, asks for a one-tap answer, and reminds them on the day.

Coming next

Moving, learning and playing

A short daily exercise, memory games, small health-literacy nuggets and festival joy, in their language and at their pace.

Coming next

Reminders that sound like a friend

“9 बजे की चाय का समय” rather than “take your pills”. Set by them or by family, with a warm thank-you when done.

For the family

Know how they are, without reading what they said

You pay for peace of mind and receive signals. You never receive transcripts, voice notes or photos, and paying more does not change that.

Coming next

Signals, never the conversation

A simple update on how they have been: activity, mood in a word, whether the day’s plans happened. You never receive the conversation itself.

In pilot

Know when it matters

If they go quiet, their Saathi checks in again, and if there is still no reply the people looking after them are told, so a quiet day does not go unnoticed.

Coming next

Something to do, not just something to watch

Send a question for Ask Mom, set a reminder, ask for a voice note. The call home becomes an exchange instead of an inspection.

For communities and volunteers

People in the neighbourhood, verified

Where we have verified volunteers we say so, and where we do not, we offer the online service only. We would rather be honest than look bigger.

In pilot

Trained, verified volunteers

Neighbours apply, pass a scenario-based assessment and a background check, and are renewed every year. Families can see who is who.

In pilot

A layer under your community

Your members already run the social life of the building. SaathiLife.Care makes sure nobody is missed between events, and never takes the credit.

Questions families ask

Straight answers

My parent will never use an app.

They will not need to. They use WhatsApp every day, and Saathi is simply a person who messages them there, in their language. There is nothing to install and nothing to learn.

Won’t they find it creepy that we are monitoring them?

You do not see anything they say. Not the messages, not the voice notes. You are told whether they are alright. That is exactly why they will tell Saathi the truth.

What if they just stop replying?

Silence is something a volunteer follows up, not the end of the conversation. Saathi checks in again, and if there is still no reply the people looking after them are told.

Is Saathi a real person?

Yes. Saathi is a trained, police-verified volunteer who talks with your parent on WhatsApp. The goal is not to be their only friend. A Saathi’s job is to get them to Saturday’s antakshari evening, pair them with a neighbour for a morning walk, and get their recipe into the family’s hands. We care about the time they spend with people, not with us.

Is SaathiLife.Care a medical or emergency service?

No. SaathiLife.Care never diagnoses or prescribes, and it is not an ambulance. Saathi notices and refers, and where verified volunteers live nearby, one can come to the door.

Where is their data kept?

In India. There is no hardware to be stranded with, and what they say is never passed on to the family.

Start with one conversation.

Tell us about your parent, and Saathi will say hello.
